Commissioned by HomeLive Arts for the Arnold Circus Centenary Picnic with funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
For the 100th anniversary of Arnold Circus, the world’s first social housing project, Home LiveArt in partnership with Friends of Arnold Circus commissioned Miche to research with local Bangladeshi women the rich history of their food cultures. The Food Shrine emerged as a collective site of memory, conversation and exchange through this process of inter-generational tasting, cooking and gardening.
